In the spring and summer months Nanton has much to offer. Take a swing at the Nanton Golf Club, go walk or run around the pond in Westview and take in the spectacular Foothill and mountain views, take a swim at the Tom Hornecker Recreation Centre Pool. Nanton also benefits from wonderful park spaces throughout town and a pathway system that provides people with great opportunities to stay active. There is a dog park in the works and talk of a Frisbee Golf Course coming our way.
Winter weather does not mean you need to stay indoors. Get active by taking your toboggan over to Boomers hill in Lions Grove Park, or lace up your skates or put on your curling shoes at the Tom Hornecker Recreation Centre.
